3月11日に発生した東北地方太平洋沖地震において被害にあわれた地域の皆様に、謹んでお見舞い申し上げますとともに、犠牲になられた方々とご遺族の皆様に対し、深くお悔やみを申し上げます。一日も早い復旧・復興を心よりお祈り申し上げます。

Message from TOCHKA:
Those who have suffered immeasurable sorrow on March 11.
This music, movie, and the website were created to lighten up those hearts for all who have suffered. We pray for all the victims of the disaster and hope they can confront the situation with courage and go on with life without losing their hearts in the days to come. May this tragedy become an opportunity for us all to make a better world,a better life,and a better place where people come together with their heart-warming souls.

Responses from Japanese Canadian Communities in BC

The BC Japan Earthquake Relief Fund (BC-JERF) is a coalition of volunteers; we are individuals, community groups and businesses concerned for the well being of the people in Japan in the wake of the recent earthquake, tsunami, and unfolding nuclear threats. Our purpose is to vet and act as an organizational hub for BC communities’ fundraising efforts and to facilitate the delivery of this financial aid to the affected people in Japan. Funds raised through BC-JERF-endorsed campaigns and events will be donated in full to reputable charities operating on the ground in Japan, such as the Japanese Red Cross.

BC-JERF office has closed on April 30th, however, many community groups and individuals are still dedicating their time to Japan earthquake and tsunami relief.
