Open Doors Community Meeting: Monday, Jan 31
Monday, January 31, 2011
Time: 2 pm
Where: Vancouver Buddhist Temple
220 Jackson Avenue (across of Oppenheimer Park)

The Open Doors Project will be holding a community meeting on Monday, January 31, starting at 2pm at the Vancouver Buddhist Church (right across of Oppenheimer Park, on the corner of Jackson and Powell).
Meeting discussion: We’re looking to produce permanent signage to indicate not only the Japanese Canadian history of the 300 and 400 blocks of Powell Street, but also the contemporary and historical histories of other interested parties (including Aboriginal communities and contemporary residents and workers). It’s important that we get input from a variety of voices, so if you can attend or if you know of others who may wish to contribute or attend, please let us know.
