Nikkei Place consists of the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre (Nikkei Centre), the Nikkei Seniors Health Care & Housing Society (Nikkei Home) and the Nikkei Place Foundation. Each are non-profit societies and charitable organizations with unique mandates but they all work together as part of the Nikkei Place family.

At their booth, festival-goers can view a display of Japanese Canadian history, museum publications, education programs, and activities. They will also have a display in the Vancouver Buddhist Temple (220 Jackson Avenue). They will be holding free, 45 minute walking tours of the Powell Street area during the festival, in both English and Japanese. See the Participatory Activities section of the Program for more information.
