The Greater Vancouver Japanese Canadian Citizens’ Association (GVJCCA) is a non-profit organization that builds communities, and advocates for social justice primarily for people in Canada of Japanese heritage, and their families. The JCCA also publishes the monthly magazine, The Bulletin / Geppo.

The booth will be run by its Human Rights Committee. Established in 1990 as a standing committee of the JCCA, the Human Rights Committee has been dealing with human rights and race relations. Its purpose is to “protect and promote the past, present and future legal rights and democratic freedom of all persons in Canada regardless of race, religion, status or sex.” (JCCA Constitution 1985.)
