Alcvin Ryuzen Ramos is one of the leading teachers and performers of the shakuhachi in North America. A composer, multi-instrumentalist (shamisen, shinobue, taiko, didgeridoo), and recording artist, Alcvin has taught and performed inter- nationally and pursues an active solo as well as collaborative career, sharing the stage with many distinguished artists. Alcvin lives on the Sunshine Coast of BC where he makes shakuhachi flutes and teaches at his home at the Bamboo-In Retreat Centre.


Alcvin Ryuzen Ramosは、尺八奏者・教育者として北米では代表的 な存在です。また、自ら作曲もし、三味線、篠笛、太鼓、ディジュリデ ゥなど、さまざまな楽器をこなし、レコーディング・アーティストで もあります。Alcvinは、国際的に教育・演奏活動に従事し、ソロとし てもキャリアを積み、また他の才能あるアーティストともコラボレ ーションをしてきました。現在は、BC州のサンシャイン・コースト在 住で、尺八を作ったり、バンブー・イン・リトリート・センターで音楽 のクラスを教えたりしています。
